Host an NADJ Tea & Test Day
A Proven Community Event, Ready to Deliver
Following the success of the Kettering Tea & Test Day held in November 2005, the National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ) is looking for members to host the event in their own region.
Tea & Test Day has been developed as a ready-made, professionally supported event that can be replicated across the UK. Combining professional equipment testing, health screening, expert speakers and networking, it provides DJs with an opportunity to invest in both their businesses and their personal wellbeing.
Each event is designed to include a mixture of:
* Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and Electrical Equipment Testing (EET).
* Complimentary PSA blood testing for attendees.
* Presentation from a local accountant covering tax and business matters.
* Presentation from a local social media expert.
* A session from a local mental health professional, recognising the importance of wellbeing within our industry.
* Networking with fellow DJs and industry partners.
* Tea, coffee and informal discussion throughout the day.
* An optional evening social, allowing attendees to continue networking in a relaxed setting.
The event format has already been developed by NADJ. Hosts are not expected to create an event from scratch; instead, they are responsible for organising the event locally by sourcing a suitable venue and coordinating arrangements on the day. NADJ will provide the branding, national marketing, planning documentation and ongoing support needed to deliver a consistent, high-quality event.
To support this, approved hosts will receive:
* A £500 Host Bounty.
* A venue budget of up to £500 (subject to prior approval).
* Central marketing, publicity and promotional materials.
* Registration and event support.
* A proven event format that is ready to deliver.
