Tipis At Whatton House
Weddings at Tipis At Whatton House
Tipis At Whatton House serves as an engaging wedding venue located in Kegworth, Leicestershire. The venue features a blend of rustic charm and outdoor features, making it suitable for couples looking for a relaxed atmosphere. The grounds include expansive gardens and parkland, which provide ample opportunity for outdoor ceremonies and photographs. Couples can choose to hold their ceremony in the dedicated ceremony tipi located just a short walk from the main reception area.
The day generally begins with guests arriving and taking in the scenic setting. The ceremony can occur at the ceremony tipi, surrounded by nature. After the vows, a drinks reception can take place on the decking area, allowing couples to celebrate with their guests. Once the formalities are complete, the celebrations continue inside the main tipi, where a large dance floor sets the stage for evening entertainment.
Logistics for DJs and Suppliers at Tipis At Whatton House
As a mobile DJ, working at Tipis At Whatton House can provide a few logistical considerations. The main tipi has a large dance floor, allowing for plenty of space for dancing and entertainment. There is easy access for DJs to set up equipment, although suppliers should be aware that the nearest toilets are behind the main tipi, which might require guests to walk back through the reception area.
Moreover, outdoor areas are well-lit, especially at night when string lights illuminate pathways, creating a pleasant atmosphere. However, it’s worth noting that the heating within the tipis may not always be sufficient on hotter days, so planning is needed for comfort. The venue does have a civil ceremony licence, which allows couples to tie the knot in the ceremony tipi without moving to another location.
