DJ setup and supplier access notes
When planning for a DJ setup at Hilltop Country House, it is essential to confirm details regarding supplier access. Review comments suggest that loading and parking may be straightforward but asking about the designated loading zone and parking availability is wise. Additionally, it’s advisable to inquire about any stairs or obstacles that may hinder equipment transport.
DJs should identify the optimal setup position, and confirm the power supply availability to ensure adequate outlets. Questions about the turnaround time between the ceremony and the evening reception could also be important, as this could influence equipment setup timings.
Sound, timings and guest experience
DJs should verify whether sound limiters are in place, as this could affect music volume during the evening reception. Guests appreciate good communication from the DJ, so it would be beneficial to discuss the flow of the evening with the venue coordinator prior to the event. Confirming these details can help ensure a smooth experience for both the couple and their guests.
Reviews and client feedback themes

Clients often mention the supportive venue staff who help bring their wedding ideas to life. One reviewer noted, “nothing was too much trouble”, highlighting the venue’s commitment to client satisfaction. However, it’s beneficial for prospective couples to inquire about specific logistics to avoid any potential misunderstandings.
