Hotel Du Vin Stratford: A Wedding Venue for Intimate Celebrations
Hotel Du Vin Stratford is a refined wedding venue located in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. The hotel, housed in a beautifully restored 18th-century building, combines modern comfort with historical charm, making it suitable for couples looking for a special setting.
The main event space, known as Charneco, accommodates up to 50 seated guests and overlooks a private landscaped courtyard. This space creates a relaxing atmosphere for weddings, allowing guests to mingle outdoors during the reception and enjoy the lovely views. Alternatively, the hotel offers two private dining rooms for smaller gatherings, ideal for intimate ceremonies or receptions with 10 to 12 guests.
Ceremonies can take place in any of the suites or in the courtyard, as the hotel has a full wedding licence. The day typically starts with arrivals, followed by the ceremony, drinks, and a meal crafted from locally sourced ingredients. The Bistro du Vin provides a menu that can be tailored to fit your celebration, creating a memorable dining experience.
From a DJ’s perspective, the logistics are manageable. There is ample room for setup, and the hotel is equipped with sound facilities, beneficial for evening entertainment. Additionally, the courtyard allows for outdoor gatherings, and access to power sources is straightforward, which eases the setup process.
Reviews highlight the warm staff and excellent food.
